MNDMF Help for Trade
MNDMF works closely with northern businesses, economic development practitioners, industry associations and agencies, and other levels of government to put northern Ontario "on the map" with investors and buyers in industry sectors and geographic markets important to northern Ontario. They help promote goods and services and market northern Ontario as a great place to live, invest, and do business. To accomplish this, they organize and participate in numerous activities, including:
- Trade shows and conferences
- Incoming and outgoing missions
- Familiarization tours
- Mine equipment and supply services - such as the Western Initiative Strategy that currently has 20 consortium companies as a test market recruiting cross section of expertise as the program revolves around in house consultants
- International trade and incoming missions - shows such as PDAC (Prospectors Developers Association of Canada) and trade shows in Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Chile work with companies preshow to match needs and to recruit qualified buyers.

- Resource collaboration – refer clients back and forth.
